HARDWOOD FLOOR REFINISHING PROCESS IN HOUSTON
Hardwood Floor Refinishing in Houston. We can sand and refinish your older wood floor completely. Our process is, taping up areas with plastic sheeting that are not going to be refinished this will minimize all dust from going to areas that we don’t want. we then start by popping off all older trim & shoe molding then we start out with a ruff cut sand paper usually 36 grit, sand all flooring down to the bare wood, run 40 grit using the same procedure we then fill the flooring for cracks and nail holes after that dries we do a fine cut using 80 grit sand paper. After all machine work is complete we start with a wood floor buffer, the buffer takes off sanding marks and imperfections that might of been left from the previous sands. After all sanding is complete we will vacuum, then apply 1 coat of stain and allow this dry. We then proceed to finish off with 2 coats of polyurethane, sanding in between coats .
